where it began
My journey into the body began long before the clinic. I was an elite athlete representing Kenya at the Commonwealth Games and at World Junior and Open Championships. I also had the honour of serving as Physical Therapist to the Kenyan National Teams. Movement was my first language, and the body was something I understood intimately through performance, pressure, and the pursuit of excellence.
Then came a significant injury that brought that chapter to a close. And in the stillness that followed, something deeper began to stir.
Sport taught me how to push through. Injury taught me how to listen inward.
That turning point became the seed of everything that followed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, a Graduate Diploma in Physiology, and years of clinical practice with the full breadth of human physical experience. I loved that work. But the more I learned, the more I noticed what science alone couldn’t reach.
the turn inward
There’s a part of human experience that lives beneath the clinical — something in the body that holds memory, emotion, and meaning. I found myself drawn irresistibly to that territory. This led me to train in Cranio-Sacral Therapy, a subtle hands-on practice that listens to the body’s own intelligence in a way most clinical frameworks never consider.
And then I found breath.
Breathwork didn’t feel like something I chose. It felt like something that claimed me.
Rooted in the tradition of rebirthing breathwork, this work has become the centre of my practice. Conscious connected breathing is one of the most direct portals I know to the emotional body to what’s been held, suppressed, or waiting to be felt. It creates conditions for genuine transformation, not just symptom relief.
What I believe
I’ve spent a long time in clinical settings working with people in pain. That work has value, and I bring that grounding with me always. But my calling now is different.
I’m here for the people who aren’t broken but who know they’re not yet fully free. People at a crossroads. People who sense there’s more available to them: more joy, more aliveness, more authentic connection. People ready to meet themselves honestly, and move toward what they truly want. I believe the body holds the map. Breath is how we learn to read it.
My work weaves together science and the subtle honouring both the evidence base I’ve spent decades building, and the ancient, non-ordinary intelligence of the body that no textbook fully captures. I hold both with equal respect.
If you’re longing to feel more connected to yourself, to others, to the flow of life I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
