Stillness has its own intelligence.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy · gentle · deep · profoundly restorative.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy
What it is
Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the subtle rhythms of the cerebrospinal fluid and the connective tissue system of the body. Developed from the osteopathic tradition, it operates on the principle that the body holds a quiet, continuous motion and that disruptions to this rhythm, whether from physical injury, emotional shock, or accumulated stress, can be gently detected and supported back toward ease.
The work is subtle. The effects are not.
Using an extremely light touch often no more than 5 grams of pressure I listen to the body’s own language and follow where it leads. There is no manipulation, no force. This is the body’s intelligence, given space to reorganise itself.
What it's for
- Chronic tension held in the body that hasn't responded to other approaches
- Nervous system dysregulation patterns of hyperarousal or shutdown
- Trauma held somatically the body remembering what the mind has moved past
- Seeking deep rest, restoration, and a felt sense of inner spaciousness
CST pairs naturally with breathwork many clients move between the two, finding that each deepens the other. Together they address both the structural and the emotional dimensions of held experience.
